Looking for ways to escape the DC cold this weekend? Have no fear! Bethesda Palmette Kaylan has put together a list of events going on in the DC metro area. Whether trying out a new restaurant, shopping the huge Warehouse Sale in Old Town, or rooting for your favorite team during the Super Bowl, we have you covered for each day!
Friday, January 31st | Grand Opening of Joe's Seafood & Stone Crab
Zip up your new Lilly shift and head over to 15th and H St NW for some stone crab claws. A little bit of Florida in the chill, we love it! Remember, Lilly first made her shift to disguise the "gin bellies" of Palm Beach. But here, we like to think she did it for "crab bellies." It's a win-win for everyone in every region.
Saturday, February 1st | Alexandria's Warehouse Sale
Wakey, wakey, it's eggs and clothes and accessories and home goods! Okay, we're taking liberties with some rhymes, but you DO NOT want to miss The Alexandria Warehouse Boutique Sale. You might just see some friendly, familiar faces there! Hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge.
Sunday, February 2nd | Superbowl XLVIII
It's the Seahawks vs. Broncos, 6PM, at your local watering hole or the comfort of your own couch. Listen, we understand you might just be in it for the commercials and mozzarella sticks. We, the Palmettes, fully support your eating endeavors this weekend, and mozzarella sticks should definitely be included. Remember how the Lilly shift can cover a multitude of sins: gin, crab claws, fried anything. It's just so perfect.
Perfect dress choices! Great post!
